Hello Sir! How are you ? I hope you are in a good condition. I am writing to express my concern about loving Indonesia. Yes! I am proud to be Indonesian! Are you proud to be Indonesia? Should be ! I said that Indonesia is the richest country in the world. But, now the country is in a bad condition right? There are many debts, poverty, corruption, decrease moral condition and others problem that happen in Indonesia. But, we are should still proud with our country more over with the nature wealth .
Here are some of Indonesia’s nature wealth :
Indonesia has the biggest gold mining with the best quality in the world that called PT. Freeport. What are the contents of the gold mining in Freeport? Since this mining was opened until now, it has produced about 7.3 million ounces of copper and 724.7 million ounces of gold. So, who are manage this mining? Not Indonesia, but America. The percentage is 1 % for Indonesia and 99 % for America that has technology to manage the mining there. Even when the gold and the copper become thinning, actually under the layer of gold and copper at depth of 400 meters found minerals that cost 100 times more expensive than gold, there are uranium. Uranium are the materials for making nuclear fuel was found there. The amount of Uranium that was found there was unclear, but the recent news by the experts, uranium that was found there enough to make nuclear power plant with a power that can light up a whole world just with the uranium there. Freeport is very useful for few officials of this country, the generals and the naughty politicians, who can enjoy life with wealth by impoverish the people. 
And the second, this country has the largest tropical forest in the world. The tropical forest has an area about 39,549,447 hectares. It is located in Sumatera, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi. Our world is so depend on tropical forest to protect the climate balance but now some people step by step damage the forest just for gardening and golf field. Is it so ironic right?
Next the third, our country also has the largest sea in the world that surrounded by two oceans, Pacific and Indian oceans. So we are not surprised that Indonesia has million species of fish that other country does not has it. Because of so rich, the other country come to harvest the fishes in our country.
The fourth, Indonesia has the fourth largest population in the world. With that amount of population, this country should produced a lot of smart people, but the government of this country neglect them. As human nature which wants to survive, of course they want respected. The other way is get out from this country and choose to defend the other country that could respect them.
The fifth, our country has very fertile soil, because it has many active volcanoes that make the soil in this country very fertile. Even more this country is crossed by the equator and there is lots of sunshine and rain. If we compare with the countries in the middle eastern which country has very rich oil, of course we are richer. Because the mineral can not be updated quickly and when their oil exhausted, they will become a poor country because they do not have their own soil as fertile as our country that can be planted any plants.
And the sixth, our country has the exotic scenery and there was no country like it. From top of the mountain until the bottom of the ocean, we can find in our country.
Beside because of the nature wealth, I am proud to be Indonesian because there are so many cultures in Indonesia. Indonesia is rich of cultures and I think only Indonesia that has a lot of cultures, right? Each ethnic group has its own culture, that’s why Indonesia rich of cultures. From Sabang until Merauke, the culture was amazing. And it must be preserved so it will not disappear. It is influenced by the various sources like religious, cultures and habits of immigrants from Asia and Europe. Be honest not a lot of us know about traditional things, neither do I. But we better start to know about that. In fact there are some foreigners learn about gamelan. They have a willing to learn that but us, the one who have it, don’t have a willing to do that.
Well, I hope Indonesia can be better in the future. The citizens can be more prosperous with the government polices. We also must conserve our cultures so our cultures will not disappear. I also hope that the citizens do not shy with the culture of Indonesia, but they should proud of it. The citizens must like the culture of their own country than the others country’s culture. And the corruption in Indonesia must be eradicated because it makes Indonesia bad in the international. I also hope that the Indonesian products can be more beloved by the citizens.
To show our proud we have to explore anything that we have by ourselves, don’t let anymore foreigners explore ours. For culture, I said, we have to learn and continue it, for example by wearing traditional clothes. As well as that, we have to keep it too, so that our grandson/daughter will know that their country has many cultures. Besides we also have to appreciate our own product, made in Indonesia.
Anyway, that all my opinion about loving Indonesia. I believe Indonesia can be better in the future. I am looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you very much.
